My baby boy, Dexter, is just that- a big baby. He is 3 years old long-haired chihuahua whose bark is way worse than his bite. It is with a heavy heart, and a very hard decision, that I look for a new home for him. He isn’t a huge fan of my children, so he’ll need a home with no kids. He’s been regressing with his training, and I just don’t have the time to be fully involved in correcting. He is very loyal, but very territorial and he will defend his castle to any “threat” or stranger. He is so full of love and snuggles when you gain his trust. He loves to play fetch, can “sit” and “spin”, dances his happy dance and LOVES cheese. He isn’t afraid of fireworks, the vacuum or lawnmower. He IS afraid of grocery bags.
He struggles on the leash. He isn’t a fan of going outside. He likes lounging inside on a favorite pillow. Very much a diva boy. His new home will have to be very patient with him.
