Chessa

I adopted Chessa from the SD Humane Society on 10/31/2024. She has an estimated birth date of July 29, 2024. She loves playing in the water, and we play fetch at the beach. She has moderate-high energy and requires frequent mental stimulation. I am looking for a new home for her because I do not believe I have a schedule nor patience to continue giving her the best life. She enjoys meeting new people and dogs, but she displays reactivity to other dogs by barking and raising her hackles. She also displays reactivity to people in dimly lit areas at night with the same behavior. She goes to dog daycare regularly with 60+ other dogs during the day and generally gets along well with dogs there, though she has had to be separated from the pack for a time out on occasion, and she has also nipped two smaller dogs there when overstimulated. I love her very much, and I want the best for her, which is why I am looking for someone who can take care of her and give attention to her needs.
