My brother passed away unexpectedly last fall and left behind 4 cats. He often referred to them as his "best friends". It is obvious that they miss him. I have been taking care of them the best I can, but I live in Charlotte, NC and he lives in Augusta GA. I am dedicated to finding good homes for these kitties. They deserve to live out the rest of their lives with people who love them as much as my brother did.
Danny (tabby male) and Lilbit (black female) are a bonded pair. They are strictly indoor cats. They are never far away from each other. Danny was adopted from a shelter in 2016. He was one year old. Lilbit showed up during covid in 2020. The vet estimated that she was probably a year or less old. These two have lived in a quiet environment with no children or other pets. They do love to play and they REALLY love to be combed and brushed.
They are not de-clawed, and I would ask that they are not put through that procedure. Lilbit, once she gets to know you, is a talker. Danny isn't a talker, but he is a purr machine. During the night, if I want to know where he is in the room, all I have to do is speak his name, and he begins to purr. And both of them are more than happy to lie down in the middle of whatever papers you're working on. They both spend a lot of time out in the sunroom or in the dining room window, sitting on their cat tree, looking at birds, squirrels, chameleons, bugs, etc.
