We rescued Boogie and his best friend, Baby (73 lbs, F, very friendly with people) from euthanasia due to shelter overcrowding. Despite having had a very difficult past, Boogie is full of love for people and life! He’s happy to relax with you at home or go for a nice walk, soaking up scents and sunlight.
Boogie has lived with other dogs without issues and made dog friends as a foster, but barks and pulls at dogs he sees on the street, so does best walking in low-traffic areas. Silver lining: His foster takes him to a professional trainer to work on this. Stay tuned for his DNA results, coming soon!

Has your dog ever shown any challenging behaviors, such as biting a person or another pet? If so, please share some context.:
No bite history to our knowledge. Since he is dog selective and not well trained, his foster does not allow him to approach dogs and people. He barks at other dogs and pulls towards them. His foster has been training him to turn his attention to her when he sees other dogs but he still needs lots of training. He does have one dog friend who belongs to a friend of his foster. He gets wild barking when is out in the front yard and a dog walks by. His foster has to be next to him to prevent him from jumping over the fence.
