Sweet Chihuahua needing a home
Nikita’s Bio:
Niki is a spayed 10 year old Chihuahua<Dachshund dog I obtained from Seattle Humane Society, as a rescue when she was 13 mo old. She came with scars on her body, head that will not grow hair but responded well to treatments for her stray life’s background, under the auspice of my vet.
Niki’s is syrupy sweet, likes to look in your eyes and cock her head while you talk to her. She loves attention. She is sweet, playful, silly and sassy. Niki was raised with 3 other of my chihuahua dogs, later w/ a kitten to cat, German Shepard and rabbits.
Niki can be motherly and correct her housemate, but never w/ the rabbit or cat. She has no chase instinct. If at all possible, she wants a “job” where she can dote on another small dog and groom/care for.
No chewing, very little barking, love attention. She is intimidated at dog parks, not ideal for her. But she loves loves walks, hiking. Niki never has had aggression, chasing or biting of other animals nor people. She is unbothered by fireworks. Generally speaking, not much of a barker.
She is trained to be left alone most days up to 12 hours, but that is with her fellow chihuahuas, so honestly no longer know how he does if needing to be left alone.
She is house broken, goes on pee pads. She is easy to groom and bath. I brush her teeth with an electric tooth brush and she holds still. She loves being held, pet, being by your side!
Her demeaner is pretty chill, wiggly w/ that happy wagging tail and is always happy to see humans. Niki has been trained to be a one-command dog, so typically obeys immediately. I never could get her to do tricks; but is food motivated and loves apples, kale and carrots.
Her health is in excellent health and I will provide his vet records.
She is great on a leash.
