Sweet & Silly Chihuahua needing a home
Charlie’s Bio:
Charlie is a neutered 9 year old Chihuahua>Dachshund dog I obtained from a family when he was 8 wks old. Charlie has been raised with 3 other of my chihuahua dogs, later w/ a kitten to cat, German Shepard and rabbits.
Charlie has no aggression, protective of the rabbits and the cat, very playful with the cat! Charlie is quite the ham and character. He is still very playful. No chewing, very little barking, love attention. He loves to play at dog parks and run around! He loves walks, hiking. Charlie never has had aggression, chasing or biting of other animals nor people. He is unbothered by fireworks, some barking but responds to being told to be quiet.
He is trained to be left alone most days up to 12 hours, but that is with his fellow chihuahuas, so honestly no longer know how he does if needing to be left alone.
He is house broken, goes on pee pads. He is easy to groom and bathe. I brush his teeth with an electric tooth brush and he holds still or lies on his back. He loves belly rubs!
He is quite a character, still playful like a puppy, very calm and happy to please and he will make you laugh. Charlie has been trained to be a one-command dog, so typically obeys immediately. He doesn’t do tricks currently, but I trained him in the past and he responds well to treats. He is food motivated and loves apples, kale and carrots.
He is in excellent health and I will provide his vet records.
Charlie is great on a leash.
