Rehoming Sweet Nala
First off, Nala on the larger side of canines. Weighing in at 50-60 pounds depending on her cycle. Which leads to the other significant thing, is that she is not spayed and has all organs intact.
Everyone comments on how beautiful she is. Nala loves to rough-house! She likes to be wrestled with and loves to be chased.
She definitely thrives being outdoors and also loves her comfort in the house. She likes to be with her pack aka the owner unless she actually has other canines for a pack. Nala goes with me on my day to day doings, including work, running errands or going on forest walks.
Sometimes she stays in her sleeping space (which is the garage at the moment) for a 2-4 hours if I need a night out dog-free. Nala would thrive in a home with a big backyard or an owner who is big on being outdoors.
Nala does well with other dogs and does fine / stays away from cats. When she is in heat she can be protective and dominant with other dogs. So I would separate her from other dogs when that cycle is happening. Nala is very well trained from my perspective.
I had her since she was 8 weeks old and taught her the basic commands both on and then off leash.
So she will sit, lie-down, understands "no" or "out" if you want her to leave a space.
She can heel (walking side-by-side) without a leash. And she knows how to "come" so her recall is good as well.
She does well in a car or tied on a cable. But definitely likes her freedom to roam and chase rodents. Nala is not spayed, is up-to-date on vaccination, and is microchipped in Yancey county
Diet-wise, she eat kibble primarily and I also do my best to give her ground beef or other meat.
