Kylo is male Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix. 5 1/2 years old. He is extremely intelligent, affectionate, gentle, playful & sweet. He loves to play keep away with socks, gloves, slippers, even tissues. He loves to sleep next to me. Loves to protect.
He is an exceptionally gorgeous creature.
He gets lots of attention and compliments wherever we go because he is so very handsome. He loves to ride in the car, but will bark at other large dogs he sees on the street.
He is friendly with kids& grown humans, He is good with small dogs & cats & will even share his food! His best friend is a chihuahua who is not even as big as Kylo's beautiful bushy tail
He is reactive to larger dogs.
Kylo is easily controlled on leash until distracted by other large dogs, then he will bark & pull. He once barked at a statue of a lion in a driveway. He does not like moving cars and will lunge at them if they pass too closely. I do not often walk him on the street.
Kylo's ancient breeding is to be a protector. He feels it is his job to guard the perimeter and would do this routinely when we had the big fenced yard. His bark is deep and loud, his first line of defense which he uses with gusto if he is on alert.
Kylo needs a person(s) he can give his heart & unfaltering loyalty to. He also needs a fenced in yard so he can run & play… hopefully with no neighbors close by who might object to barking, which Kylo uses to communicate.
He is a such beautiful guy....a beautiful Soul. Given the appropriate environment for us to live, I would NEVER be seeking to re-home. He is a very special, very loved dog. He deserves a really happy life, I just cannot provide for him right now.
