Ashy

Adorable Low-maintenance Healthy Gray Cat

We’re heartbroken to say goodbye to our beloved Ashy as we prepare to move overseas. Ashy is an incredibly soft, emotionally intelligent gentleman with purrfect manners. He’s an expert at long naps, making a nest in laundry, and supurrvising yard projects around the neighborhood.

Every evening, he joins family walks, sometimes waiting patiently when we stop to chat with neighbors before continuing on. Ashy is healthy, playful, and wonderfully self-sufficient, though that may be because we dote on him daily. As someone who works from home, I’ve loved having him as my fuzzy assistant, always generous with his companionship and soft fur.

We would love nothing more but to take him with us, but we’ll be living in a crowded apartment where Ashy wouldn’t have the freedom he loves to come and go. We’re open to a permanent home and to fostering, since we may return within a year or two.

He does have a couple of cat friends in the neighborhood but he sometimes has personality differences with unknown cats so it might be best to find a home where he's the only cat.

If you or someone you know would love to welcome this sweet, wise companion into your life, please reach out.
