Apollo is a 4-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. Hes full of energy, incredibly smart, and does well with other dogs. He has a playful spirit and thrives when he has room to run, so a home with a yard or an active owner who can give him the exercise and stimulation he needs would be ideal. Apollo is very affectionate and sweet-natured, and he bonds deeply with his people. That said, he can be a bit temperamental when it comes to giving up things hes not supposed to have, so he will need an experienced, patient owner who can work with him through continued training and provide clear boundaries. He knows some basic tricks already and is eager to learn more. While hes great with other dogs, he most likely would thrive being the only pet. I would not recommend a home with young children. He needs someone committed and who understands high-energy breeds and can give him the structure, attention, and love he deserves.
