URGENT: Diamond Needs a Home Before September 17th
Diamond is a sweet, one-year-old pit bull who will be euthanized on September 17th unless she finds a loving home.
She’s an incredibly loving and cuddly girl—friendly, playful, and fully potty-trained. Diamond knows her basic commands like “sit” and “go to bed,” and she absolutely adores being around people. She does need to be the only dog in the home, as she doesn’t do well with other pit bulls, but she has so much love to give to her future family.
Please don’t let Diamond’s story end too soon. If you can open your heart and home to her—or know someone who can—reach out immediately. Every share could save her life. ❤️

What's the most endearing thing about your dog?:
The most endearing thing about Diamond is how incredibly loving and cuddly she is. She just wants to be by your side, offering gentle affection and soaking up every bit of love she can get. Whether she's curling up next to you or leaning in for pets, Diamond's happiest moments are the ones spent close to the people she adores.
What criteria are important to you when considering an adoptive family or home for your pet?:
1. Commitment & Responsibility A family or individual who understands that adopting Diamond is a lifelong commitment, not just a temporary arrangement. 2. Experience with Dogs (ideally pit bulls) Someone who has experience with dogs, especially larger breeds like pit bulls, or who is willing to learn and work with her needs. 3. Single-Pet Household Since Diamond doesn’t do well with other pit bulls (or possibly other dogs in general), it’s best she be the only dog in the home. 4. Time & Attention An adoptive family who has the time to give her daily exercise, play, training reinforcement, and, most importantly, lots of love and cuddles. 5. Stable Living Situation A safe, secure home environment (preferably with a fenced yard, though not always required) where she won’t be at risk of being abandoned or rehomed again. 6. Compassion & Patience People who will see Diamond not just as a pet, but as family—someone patient enough to help her adjust and feel safe.
Is there anything else you'd like your pet's new family to know?:
Diamond isn't just a dog -she's a companion who will fill your life with love, joy, and laughter. She's still young, so she has lots of playful energy, but at the same time she's happiest when she's curled up right next to you. She just wants to love and be loved in return. If you choose Diamond, you won't just be saving her life - you'll be gaining a loyal, affectionate best friend who will always be by your side.
Why are you rehoming your pet (primary reason)?:
Personal Problems
Details about rehoming reason (if needed):
Diamond has been labeled as "dangerous" by the shelter, but this is due to her not getting along with other dogs -not because of her behavior with people. In fact, Diamond is ineredibly sweet, loving, and cuddly with humans. She adores affection, knows her commands, and just wants to be by someone's side. She simply needs to be in a home where she is the only dog so she can thrive.
If applicable, do you have the legal right or necessary permission from the breeder or rescue organization to rehome this pet? :
Not Applicable
Yes
How long will you be able to keep your pet before you may need to consider surrendering him or her to a rescue?:
Two weeks
What do you feed your pet, and does he/she have any feeding quirks or preferences?:
Diamond eats a mix of kibble and soft food-she definitely prefers it when her meals are mixed together, since she's a little spoiled in the best way. She gets excited for mealtimes and always finishes her food. Soft food is her favorite treat, and it makes her extra happy when it's part of her daily routine.
Do you currently have pet insurance?:
No
Would you consider a long-distance adoption?:
Yes
