Cleo & Theo

Bonded British short hair 3 year olds!

Cleo (brown hair, female) is Theo’s sister and they must be adopted together! She is a spunky and independent 3-year old. She is up to date on shots and vet visits. She broke her front canines from a fight so she has to get them removed sooner than later (was a $700 surgery for her brother). Cleo loves to sleep, cuddle next to you, and play with the laser pointer! She is obsessed with treats and enjoys napping on a heating pad. Doesn’t like a wand, but loves a cat tunnel! Cleo doesn’t like to be picked up, but will let you cuddle her at her own pace. She is a little shy and takes a while to warm up. She loves her belly rubs and will flop over when you come home.

Theo (white hair, male) is a snuggle bug. He is very sweet, loves to be held, and loves his neck scratches. He’s very food driven. He is house trained. He loves to sit on top of the counter as the dishwasher runs underneath. He has a lot of energy and shows it! He loves to cuddle on the couch or play with a wand or chase his sister. Sometimes they get too violent in their play time. He loves cat tv and is very curious about the world. He doesn’t mind loud noises from cars or construction, but hates the vacuum. He is not shy with strangers, immediately wanting to be petted, but he growls if he sees them through the window.

They both are great companions, but they need a bigger space in a big household with people to pet them with absolutely NO dogs. They have tried to run away if the balcony door is left open for a second! If they aren’t sleeping, they are playing together or people watching. Theo does well in a carrier, Cleo gets anxious and vocal. I have to restructure financials and due to new family circumstances, I can no longer financially afford both of them. They are loving cats.

Theo had full panel testing for his surgery. He had to get his two canines removed due to a fight with Cleo and running into a wall. There’s been no issues post surgery and it was months ago. Cleo needs the same surgery after jumping on her brothers back and chipping her teeth. It’s very low down time for them and it went smoothly for Theo. It was $700 for him so she needs it.

What criteria are important to you when considering an adoptive family or home for your pet?: Needs a big space and at least 2 people on the lease, with one being home more often than not. The adoptive family needs to be patient for their transition, and needs to be a good human. No history of violent outbursts or any form of inappropriate behavior to animals ever. I am looking for an experience cat owner. Someone who is looking for two crazy playful cats to snuggle up on the couch with. Someone who is kind, has financial freedom to spoil them, and someone who is reliable and doesn’t leave them alone for days when they go out of town.
Is there anything else you'd like your pet's new family to know?: I can share their usual cat sitter. I never leave them alone when I go out of town for short periods, they need someone to scoop their litter and give them attention even if it’s a short trip. They both are truly loving cats who don’t bite, scratch, or get easily annoyed (they’re cats after all). I have faced a new financial crisis due to family issues and I just can’t support them and my family. They have been loved and spoiled and I want to make sure they continue being spoiled with love.
