Title: Found Dog Update - Need Help Urgently
Hi everyone! We are looking for someone to help foster or adopt a lost dog.
Yesterday, we found a dog wandering around a neighborhood near the El Dorado and Clear Lake City Blvd. HEB wearing a leash but no collar or tag. We were able to take her to a local vet, but unfortunately she’s not microchipped and we have no way to get in touch with the owners. Sadly, the vet also informed us that the local BARC animal shelter would most likely euthanize her within 24 hours.
We would love to foster her ourselves, however we already have a 12 year old beagle and she doesn’t do well with other animals. The lost dog is a total sweetheart, and has a very calm and affectionate personality. She is shy, but quickly warms up and even follows a few commands. She would do best in a house with a yard or someone who can fully exercise her. We would hate to have to take her to a shelter since she deserves a loving home. Please help in any way you can! Thank you!
Below it asks how long we can keep her. Place ASAP. As stated, my other dog doesn’t get along (the rescue was fine with my dog) so I can’t let her inside the house. She’s currently staying outside in my fenced in yard on the patio. Luckily, the weather is okay; but, I don’t like keeping her outside- I don’t feel it’s fair to her. Especially, since she’s always on alert with any sound she hears.
