My name is Mikki, and I’m reaching out with an urgent request for help.
Earlier this year, I went through a divorce and had to move back in with my family in Baldwin Park, CA. Unfortunately, my grandmother is severely allergic to cats, so I cannot keep my three cats with me right now.
On top of that, I am currently going through a personal situation with my ex-husband, which has left me financially unstable and emotionally drained. He left me with significant debt, and I’m struggling to even afford basic needs, including food and pet supplies. I’m doing my best to get back on my feet and find stable work, but things have been extremely difficult.
My cats mean the world to me, and I do not want to surrender them. I’m reaching out to ask if there’s any possibility of temporary foster help, emergency placement, or assistance with food or supplies for a few months while I rebuild stability.
I can stay in contact, provide updates, and contribute what I can as soon as I have income again. I just want to ensure they’re safe and cared for while I work toward getting back on my feet.
