Rocky is a sweet 9-year-old dog with a big heart and a tough past. He was first found as a stray at ACCT Philadelphia in 2019, returned in 2020, and was found again by police this past March. Through it all, he’s remained loving and gentle.
His foster recently had a job change and can no longer keep him. Rocky needs a new foster home by Friday, October 24th, or he’ll have to return to ACCT, where he’s at high risk for euthanasia.
He’s shown some reactivity toward other dogs, but he’s been working with a professional trainer and is making great progress. Ideally, Rocky would do best in a home with no other animals, or one where he can be safely separated as his training continues.
All his food, care, and continued training are fully covered for any foster who can give him a safe place to land. He truly is an amazing dog who just needs one more chance.
