Brady was pulled from the euthanasia list at a shelter by my rescue. He has been getting finite training to most specifically address his dog reactivity with a professional trainer while living in the trainer's home. He is a dog with high prey drive, but has shown he can be neutral to cats indoors if corrected once and then managed appropriately. Any adopter will need to reinforce heavy parameters by way of correction for any fixation or forwardness towards dogs to ensure you are truly building a healthy & manageable relationship that keeps suppressing the dog reactivity to allow for him to truly be comfortable in the environment. He is manageable off leash with his eCollar with the trainer in certain low stimulus settings. He is friendly with people, but requires management to ensure he does not get aroused upon the person approaching. He is good with kids, however his prey drive can be triggering if they are kicking any ball or waving anything in their hands so this is to be corrected & managed to ensure an appropriate relationship. He loves to possess toys but isn't aggressive about it. His favorite games are to hunt for food scatters, chase his plush ball on a rope, or a jolly ball. He is not to be left unattended with toys as he will destroy them. Crate trained and has no anxiety in his crate whatsoever. Place trained on a bed/cot with a tether. Day to day consists of hunting for food, play time, crate or place time, engagement with food for commands, proximity work around other neutral dogs to correct any forward behavior, etc. Will require an adopter dedicated to following through suppressing any forward reactivity towards dogs, but otherwise is a very easy going and loving companion.
