Amelie

Amelie is a really sweet girl craving lots of attention, snuggling, and love, and she will gladly give it right back. She's an energetic, playful and adorable friend who will attach with loyalty and lots of licks! Always by our side, we call her our shadow since she follows us everywhere.

We adopted Amelie six years ago. Due to upcoming life changes, we'll be spending much more time out west. Sadly, Amelie cannot travel with us due to extreme car sickness (except in open-air truck beds!). She needs to be with a family with a truck settled in one place with room for her to run Though she doesn't tolerate rides inside a car, she loves the dog park and the smell of fresh mountain air.

She is not a fan of thunder, fireworks, or new humans, which make her very nervous, and needing extra reassurance. Easily calmed, she will be up in new friends' laps in no time at all. While she has lived with other dogs, she would probably enjoy a one-pet home the most.

Amelie is ready to find her new forever home!
