Additional notes about your dog’s health history:: Jasper has generalized anxiety disorder that manifests as reactivity and aggression towards dogs he doesn't know. He is also easily startled by loud and sudden noises

How is your dog with other dogs?: Aggressive: Does not get along with other dogs and may show aggressive behavior.

What's the most endearing thing about your dog?: Jasper is very sweet and loving, he loves to cuddle and be close to you

What criteria are important to you when considering an adoptive family or home for your pet?: Jasper cannot be in a house with other dogs, he is also reactive towards a fence that there is another dog on the other side of. He does best with someone who can just be near him. He is low energy and does not require much exercise but loves to be in the same room as you

Is there anything else you'd like your pet's new family to know?: Jasper has previously been attacked by other dogs twice, once when he was 8 months old and once when he was 2.5 years ago. He has always been anxious but these incidents have exacerbated his anxiety, particularly his reactivity towards other dogs. He does very well with dogs he knows. He is sometimes apprehensive around larger adults he doesn't know but usually warms up quickly. He does well with children but he is spooked by loud and sudden noises.

Why are you rehoming your pet (primary reason)?: Schedule, No Time

Details about rehoming reason (if needed): Jasper used to have two parents caring for him and for the past year it has just been me. I work long hours and will be relocating with a longer commute, leaving Jasper alone for longer periods of time. He does well alone but it's not fair to him to have to live lot of his life without the attention he deserves.

How long will you be able to keep your pet before you may need to consider surrendering him or her to a rescue?: Not an option, my pet will stay with me for as long as it takes
