Felix

We rescued sweet Felix last July in Wisconsin. He’s now almost 6 months old. We have 3 young children, and with his natural excitement, Felix tends to nip, jump, and push them over. Not in an aggressive way, but his behavior does make it difficult for all of us. We spend the majority of our time policing him, and unfortunately, it’s negatively affecting us as parents.
Felix is a beautiful mixed breed, whose DNA showed: German Shepherd, Husky, Pitbull, Cattle Dog, Staffordshire, and Beagle.
He’s completed a 3-week board and train, is potty trained, smart and curious, and loves playing with children, cats, and other dogs. He’s also crate-trained: 10 hours/night and ~4 hours/day. He rarely barks, has learned: sit, down, place, leave it, and come. All shots are up to date, but he’s not yet neutered.
We love Felix, but feel certain there’s a better home for him. The rescue we got him from has been contacted, but they don’t currently have a foster available. Please reach out if interested!
