Luna

Meet Luna – A Loving, Loyal Companion Looking for Her Forever Home

It breaks my heart to say this, but we’re looking for the perfect new home for our sweet cat, Luna. She’s about 4.5 years old (born May 1, 2021) and has been the most amazing pet we’ve ever had - and that says a lot because I’ve had over 30 cats in my lifetime!

Luna is a spayed domestic medium/long haired cat with a beautiful tortoiseshell coat and a personality as lovely as her coloring. She’s affectionate and loving, seeking just the right balance of attention and independence. She enjoys being close to her people, loves pets and cuddles, but isn’t clingy - she’s a wonderful mix of sweet and self-sufficient.

She’s also microchipped, litter box trained, and very healthy.

Luna is a natural hunter who loves the outdoors. She’ll keep your property free of rodents and spend her afternoons rolling in the dirt, lounging in the sun, and chasing birds. However, her new home must be away from high-traffic streets (a cul-de-sac or quiet neighborhood would be ideal).

If she’s going to be indoor/outdoor (which she loves), she’ll need to stay indoors for the first few weeks to adjust and learn where home is so she doesn't run away. She can probably thrive as an indoor-only cat, but she’ll need plenty of interaction, toys, and enrichment to stay happy.

Luna is missing half of one front paw from an accident as a kitten, but it doesn’t slow her down at all - she still runs, climbs trees, and plays just like any other cat. She enjoys playtime and has a young spirit that makes her feel like a kitten at heart. She has just the right level of energy, not hyper but not lazy.

Unfortunately, my husband’s cat allergy means Luna has to live outside and sleep in the garage now, which is not good because she loves being around people and deserves to be inside with her family.

To help set her up, we’ll provide everything she needs: Litter box + bag of litter; Food; Cat tree with bed; Toys; Stainless steel automatic water fountain; Wi-Fi–connected automatic feeder; carrier; Brush; Extra collar; Flea meds

Luna will need patient introduction to other cats, she is scared of dogs, she will try to hunt birds and rodents - so would do best as the only pet.

Luna would make a wonderful addition to any loving home - she’s well-behaved, affectionate, independent, and endlessly charming.
