Fiona

Fiona is a very sweet dog that is full love. She loves to play with other dogs, fetch with rubber balls, and tug of war with her rope toy. Aside from being full of energy, Fiona loves humans and getting attention, too. After a long walk, play session at the park, or playing fetch at home, she loves nothing more than to snuggle with you on the couch.

Fiona has 24/7 outside access via a doggy door. Both humans work outside of the home and she is used to being left at home with another dog for up to 11-12 hours a day, 4 days a week. We often give her a large bully stick when left home alone for long periods of time, along with tough chew toys (ex: nylabone). She is fed Kirkland Nature's Domain from Costco 2x a day.

Fiona would thrive in a home where there is at least one other dog under the age of 5 years, and absolutely no cats/small animals. She would prefer an active household and do best in a home with a fenced yard. She has never been around children, however, we believe she would do well with older children. FIona has completed both the basic and intermediate training classes at PetSmart. She is house trained, knows basic commands, including "sit" and "lay down," and has good recall. We are working on "stay." She is very food/treat motivated. She gets very excited when we go on walks, so we use a full body harness that has a ring to clip a leash on the front. We have never crated her, so are unsure how she would do. She likes to be the leader of the pack and doesn't like to be separated when we are on a family outing, such as talking a long walk.

Fiona has no known medical issues. She is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations, and is micochipped. She does best on grain free food.
