He was adopted a few months ago as companion and a friend to our 8 year old dog who wants a playmate.
As time has gone on it's clear that we were misled with information about him, which is not his fault. We were told he is good with dogs and other animals but he clearly needs to be the only animal in the household.
He is incredibly entertaining, loves playing with toys and getting the zoomies, but does not like sharing attention. Our older dog is very timid and roughly the same size and since Church clearly doesn't like sharing attention he has come to start bullying the dog because the dog won't fight back.
We have tried everything from individualized play time, positive reinforcement, separation and even using all natural calming treats and a pheromone diffuser, but it just won't work. Unfortunately we don't have the the space to designate a part of the house to just him or the funds to get him medication he possibly needs. We just want him to go to a good home, he deserves it.
