Ladybird

Ladybird in a 5-6 year old female (spayed) Akbash/Labrador. She is up to date on her shots and well trained, including leash training. As an Akbash/Labrador she in a wonderful mix of both breeds. Being part guardian dog she tended to our chickens. Keeping them safe from hawks and coyotes and never putting her mouth on them as Labs might do. But like a Lab she loves to be active, play in water, cuddle, and curl up on the living room floor.

Ladybird has enjoyed other dogs and kids. She will chase cats if they run but never harms them. If children back away from her she ignores them, but if they want to pet her or play, she lets them. She is a follower and mimics the behaviors of those around her. If you are uneasy with someone, she will be also.

Ladybird does great on car rides, at the vet, and on the leash.

We currently live on 10 acres but have to move to town as the property is being sold, and we aren’t able to take her with us. She is a great dog, but we only have until the end of the year to find a home for our sweet Ladybird.
