He likes sleeping, and catnip. He's a bit lazy for the most part but can get a little antsy every so often because he wants to play.
Does your cat have any amusing or peculiar habits, like 'chattering' at birds through the window or fetching toys?:
He will cry at your bedroom door as early as 6:00 am, the perfect alarm clock. He will also cry for water even if he has some in his bowl, because he prefers to drink from a source of running water (a sink with a filter, a fountain water bowl) and he will not drink his water if it is close to his food bowl.
What is the most adorable thing about your cat?:
When he makes biscuits on blankets he likes to bite the blanket, and it makes him look like a little alligator!!!

What criteria are important to you when considering an adoptive family or home for your pet?:
I would like him to be adopted by a morning person, I think he would thrive in an environment like that. He typically chooses one person out of a family to spend the most of his time with, so I think he would also do very well being adopted by someone who is living alone. I don't think a family would be the best fit for him, and most definitely not a family that has young children or high energy animals.
Is there anything else you'd like your pet's new family to know?:
I am unsure of how he would do with other cats, because I have never introduced him to any other cats. He wouldn't do well with a high energy dog, but I think him and a low energy or small senior dog would get along perfectly well, and he would likely mind his own business.
Why are you rehoming your pet (primary reason)?:
Personal Problems
How long will you be able to keep your pet before you may need to consider surrendering him or her to a rescue?:
Not an option, my pet will stay with me for as long as it takes
What do you feed your pet, and does he/she have any feeding quirks or preferences?:
a kibble that is easy to digest, and the only treats he enjoys are chicken flavored greenies.
Do you currently have pet insurance?:
No
Would you consider a long-distance adoption?:
Yes
