Daisy is a shepherd mix, she was found as a feral stray, took me 2 weeks of feeding her and interacting with her to get her to trust me enough to even touch her. Now she lives with me but sadly I don’t have the time that I use to have to be able to socialize her and do the things I had started doing to get her use to civilization. She still has the wild animal streak more than anything. She doesn’t do other animals big or small and is horrified of men. So I’m guessing whoever had her in the past life was a man and was extremely mean to her. She is house trained and crate trained so obviously she once belonged to somebody, she’s extremely intelligent. She watches everything you do. The 2nd day I had her home she watched me open her metal dog crate twice and before I knew it she had opened it herself from inside so I have no doubt that she can be trained to do just about anything.
