We are looking to rehome our girl Kai because she has a hard time living with our two other dogs, and we want to find her a home where she can feel completely comfortable and relaxed. She truly thrives when she’s the only pet, and we want her to have the peaceful environment she deserves.
Kai is a loving, gentle, ~60 lb., 6–7-year-old mixed-breed girl. She is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loves to cuddle with her people. She bonds strongly and enjoys being close, making her a wonderful companion dog.
Kai has done beautifully when staying with dog sitters as the only pet — she really shines when she doesn’t have to share space with other animals. Because of this, she’s looking for a home where she can be the center of attention and relax without dog-related stress. She does perfectly well around kids and our three-month-old baby.
She is generally a happy, playful girl. She can get nervous during storms or fireworks, but with reassurance and a cozy spot to hide, she settles well.
Kai would make an amazing companion for someone wanting a loyal, affectionate, people-oriented dog who loves snuggles and quiet time. She will be a loving, devoted best friend in a one-pet home.
