Meet Hank! Hank is around 11m old, is a retriever/hound mix we believe. He does really amazing in his crate when he needs a nap and has never had an accident in the house. He’s a very happy and energetic boy that loves tug-of-war and all things chase. He loves ear scratches, belly scratches, and if you don’t rub in the right place he will make sure you do! If you’re a squirrel or a deer you better watch out! Hank has some hound dog in him (we think) and those hunting instincts are strong! Hank needs somewhere where he can be the only pet and where there aren’t small children. He does really well with my kids but he likes to play rough and has accidentally hurt them. He needs some manners training and socialization around other animals, but if you have the time and means to give him what he needs he’s the dog for you! He would make the perfect companion for someone that lives alone or a couple in search of the bestest buddy. He knows sit, shake, and down and will perform them perfectly for you if you have his favorite treat. Please help us find his perfect furever home!
