Rio is a sweet, gentle 40-pound lovebug who just wants a home where he can feel safe and adored. He is a pure bred mini husky. He can be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, his affectionate personality shines. Rio would thrive as the only dog in the home, though he does wonderfully with friendly female dogs.
He’s great with people of all ages, kid-friendly, and absolutely loves soaking up attention. Rio also gets along well with cats, making him a wonderful fit for many families.

He is semi-house trained. He sometimes uses a pad inside but also goes outside. Possible heart murmur, but I have yet to see documentation from a vet.

He is not aggressive at all.

He is long haired and sheds a lot. Grooming and bathing on an as needed basis. He does not fight you for bath time though but he will freeze up, you will have to carry him to the bath.
