Looking to rehome our 5 year old Blue Heeler, Tucker is a 5 year old male that has been neutered. This wasn’t an easy decision for us to make, we’re going to miss him terribly. Tucker needs to be in a home where his new owners understand his breed, he needs to be worked not only physically, but mentally too. He would be better in a home where he is the only dog, he will assert his dominance over a frisbee. I wouldn’t recommend him being with young children, he would do better with an older kid. He’s been attached to my hip since day one, will love you hard and protect you. We’ve had a couple incidents where another dog has come onto our property and it has caused a fight. I truly think he prefers people over another dog being around, he has never been aggressive towards people. He loves women (smart boy) and he’s skeptical of men, but comes around once he’s warmed up. He’s been around cats in the past and has kept his distance, I believe he would be fine with them once settled in. He’s truly an amazing dog, very smart and a love bug. He does great on walks, he will look at another dog and continue walking when you tell him to leave it. We’re recently married and looking to expand our family soon, and we don’t believe he will be a good fit with a baby and 2 other dogs in the home.
