He is about three years old shelter rescue super sweet boy. He’s neutered great with kids. Great with other pets from cats to guinea pigs. He has been so wonderful. He was my boyfriend‘s dog and my boyfriend moved out and left him here along with other pets, I can’t keep all of them be way too expensive by myself and with my hectic work schedule I don’t feel like I get to take him out enough and I want a home for him where people are actually dog people and will take him to the dog park and play with him. My boyfriend never did that and it always fell to me to nurture this animal because I felt sorry for him, but I’m really not a dog person.

He thinks everybody is here to love him. He’s very surprised when people don’t wanna pet him or when other dogs don’t wanna play with him.
What criteria are important to you when considering an adoptive family or home for your pet?:
That they’re gonna be interactive with him. He deserves a home with humans that will take him to a dog park or have other dogs or cats or kids for him to interact with… and if they don’t, please take him to a dog park so that he can interact. He is a very social butterfly.
Is there anything else you'd like your pet's new family to know?:
We rescued him from a shelter and he’s very close to me even though I don’t like dogs because my boyfriend had a loud booming voice. The dog was afraid of him, and whenever he would argue with me and he was emotionally abusive the dog would always stand in front of me to protect me and anytime that the guy got loud the dog would run and find me to make sure he was next to me in case anything happened so he’s a great guard dog, but he does not do well with loud booming voices
Why are you rehoming your pet (primary reason)?:
Other, Not in List
Details about rehoming reason (if needed):
My ex-boyfriend was very emotionally abusive and it just got to be too much for me and then he went after my son so I kicked him out and he left all of his pets and furnishings just everything for me to deal with and it’s just too much so I’m trying to rehome all the critters. I’ve reached out to him. He wants nothing to do with them so I need to find good homes for them.
