Meet Clyde!
Clyde is a sweet, energetic, and incredibly cuddly 9-year-old pup looking for his perfect forever home. He’s the kind of dog who loves being close to his people and is a total companion dog who thrives on affection and can happily go with the flow.
Clyde is neutered and up to date on all vaccinations. He does well with female dogs, and would do best as the only dog in the home or paired with a friendly female dog. His favorite things include playing fetch, cuddling, and keeping an eye on squirrels, which easily keep him entertained. He would do well with older children, mainly because of his energy level and enthusiasm.
Clyde has received extensive training for dog reactivity, and he has made great progress, though he can still struggle on walks. For that reason, he’s happiest playing in a secure fenced yard, enjoying enrichment, or exploring sniff spots rather than busy walking areas. I’m happy to share contact information for his trainer with anyone interested in continuing his progress.
We are rehoming Clyde because he and our other dog don’t get along, through no fault of Clyde’s. He is a loving, friendly dog who simply needs a home where he can feel safe, happy, and the center of attention.
Clyde would thrive in a quiet home with a fenced yard where he can relax and be his loyal, affectionate self. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who just wants to be near his person, Clyde could be the perfect match.

Details about rehoming reason (if needed):
Unfortunately, Clyde and the other dog in the household do not get along. We have been using a crate and rotate schedule for months, and have been working with veterinary behaviorists and trainers for the last several months. But unfortunately the other dog is too aggressive and not making progress. Ultimately, the decision came down to rehoming the dog that would be successful in a new home and considered adoptable, which is unfortunately Clyde.
