Maple

Maple is a black and tan coonhound. She came to us after someone returned her who never had a dog before and started with a Coonhound. They were not ready for the commitment these gentle beauties need as far as exercise and attention and with a new baby, we found we were not either. Maple was not crate trained and had some continuous barking issues that both were resolved with amazing obedience training and positive reinforcement. She is amazing with other dogs, better with dogs her size and bigger unless they can match her energy. She loves to play and run and solve puzzles. She is extremely smart. Due to juggling a newborn and our current dog being older and smaller we feel its best to find her a perfect home where she has more play options and someone that can make her a priority.
