Curly is an 8-month-old large-breed working dog with a sweet, easygoing nature and a big, goofy personality. He’s a strong, handsome boy who loves morning cuddles and could play fetch all day long. He’s also very people-oriented and happiest when he’s close to his family. Despite his size and strength, he’s gentle at heart and always has a big smile on his face.
Curly is about 75 lbs, up to date on vaccinations, and potty trained. He still needs consistent training and structure - especially with leash manners and house rules - but he's adaptable, a fast learner, and responds very well to positive reinforcement.
Because of his size and energy, Curly needs a home with a large, secure yard or acreage and daily exercise. He’s not a fit for small kids, apartments, or someone looking for a low-maintenance dog. He must go to a family experienced with large breeds.
Curly is available with his brother, Duke. It’s strongly preferred they stay together, though they may be adopted separately to homes that can meet their needs.
