Meet Hama! She is approximately three years, medium sized, 55 pounds. She is spayed, and after her vet appointment in early January she will be fully vaccinated.
She is healthy, happy, and silly.
Hama is okay around most people and will without a doubt fall in love with the humans in her new home, but ultimately would do best in a quiet less busy household.
She does not like other dogs.
She should not live with children. She can be mouthy and jumpy when feeling playful and does not understand how strong she is.
Hama currently lives with a confident cat, and that has been fine, but she would probably not do well in a home with a shy cat.
We have been working with a trainer to try and make it work, but our situation is not sustainable for her. We have a lot of people, dogs, and children in our lives and in our home which overwhelms Hama, and makes the situation unsafe. We have tried a lot of different methods of socializing, and directing energy appropriately, but it's becoming too hard to manage with our lifestyle and it's clear that we are not the right home for her.
She knows some basic commands, and is house trained. She loves to cuddle and go for walks. She's an overall sweet dog and could make the right home so complete and happy.
Please email or text to meet Hama.
