Vin

Vin is a 9-year-old pastel tortoiseshell with incredibly soft fur and a confident, queenly personality. She is affectionate, expressive, and knows exactly what she wants—and she isn’t shy about letting you know.

She loves attention and being petted. When Vin wants affection, she’ll flop right in front of you, gently paw at you for pets, and happily soak it all in. Her velvety-soft fur makes cuddle time especially rewarding.

Food reminders come with sass. They aren’t always polite, but that’s part of her charm—Vin has opinions and expects them to be respected.

Vin is generally low energy but enjoys play in short, focused bursts and reliably gets a case of nightly zoomies. She’s also comfortable doing her own thing during the day, making her a great mix of affectionate and independent.

Vin must be the only pet, but she doesn’t need a quiet household. In fact, she would love a home with multiple people around—more humans means more opportunities for attention, pets, and admiration. She thrives when she can move between people and soak up affection on her own terms.

Rehoming Vin is incredibly hard, but the goal is to find her a home where she can truly thrive as the center of attention, without competition from other animals.

Details about rehoming reason (if needed): She gets jealous when other pets are receiving affection. Despite our best efforts at integration, our other cat that we got as a kitten when she was ~2 tries to play chase and bite her and she does not like it at all. We also have a puppy now and while she is respectful of Vin's space, she sometimes lacks spatial awareness, and Vin gets very defensive when her personal space is invaded.
