This is Maple. She is a pocket pittie who was picked up as a stray in Texas. She was rescued from a high kill shelter where she was scheduled to be euthanized the next day. Maple is about a year and a half, and fully grown at 32lbs. She knows how to sit on command, and is learning leave it, and to stay in place when told to. She is also learning to walk politely on a leash. She is crate trained, and house trained. She LOVES people, and is extremely happy to receive attention from everyone she meets, and to give affection back. She loves to play and run around in the yard, and go out on walks, but what she really loves is to snuggle in with people in the evening to relax. While she has loved ever person she has met, she does not like other dogs, so she would do best in an only dog household. She is spayed, and fully up to date on her shots.

A family where she is an only dog, and that can give her lots of love.
Is there anything else you'd like your pet's new family to know?:
She is such a sweet girl. My family has three other dogs, and Maple does not get along with them. My wife and I love her very much, and think she would make a phenomenal pet in an only dog household. If we didn’t already have other dogs we’d keep her in a heartbeat. She has had some in home training, and she learns quickly, but she’ll need more training to help her not get so distracted with squirrels and other animals.
