Moo

This is Moo. She is a medium pittie who was picked up as a stray with her possible sibling, Maple, in Texas. She was rescued from a high kill shelter where she was scheduled to be euthanized the next day. Moo is one and a half years old, and fully grown at around 40lbs. She knows how to sit on command, and is learning leave it, and to stay in place when told. Overall, she walks politely on a leash, but can get distracted if she sees other animals. She is crate trained, and house trained. She LOVES people, and is very affectionate. She loves to play fetch with a ball, tug of war, run around in the yard, and go out on walks. What she really loves, though, is to snuggle in with people on the couch when given the chance. She is extremely happy to have someone to sleep next to when they are on the couch watching a movie or reading a book in the evening. She is very sweet and silly, and loves to give kisses. She is not a fan of other dogs, though, and would do best as an only dog. She is spayed and up to date on her shots.

Is there anything else you'd like your pet's new family to know?: She is very sweet and goofy. She loves people, and would make a fantastic pet in an only dog household. My wife and I love her very much, but have 3 other dogs that she does not get along with. We have to divide our time amongst all of the dogs, and feel terrible that Moo spends so much time in her crate, waiting for walks or snuggles. Separately, she has a high prey drive, and wants to chase after every squirrel, chipmunk and bird she sees. We have done some in home training with a trainer, that has helped, but she’ll need more training.
