Caleb

Caleb is a 9-month-old Lab mix with a gentle heart and soulful eyes, weighing about 60 lbs. He is a quiet, extremely shy boy who is learning that the world can be a safe place. New people and loud environments make him nervous, so he’s looking for a calm, patient, adults-only home where he can move at his own pace.

While Caleb is shy with people, he truly comes alive around other dogs. He is playful, energetic, and downright silly when playing with his foster doggy sister, and having another confident dog in the home would help him feel safe and secure. Once he trusts you, Caleb shows his sweetest side—he loves to snuggle and is happiest curled up with you in bed, making him the perfect cuddle companion.

Caleb is potty trained and crate trained. He is still learning leash manners and basic commands, but with time, consistency, and kindness, he has so much potential to grow. He loves squeaky toys, soft plush toys, and spending time playing outside ** must be leashed or tethered at all times because he is known to bolt if he gets spooked **.

Caleb isn’t looking for a busy or chaotic home—he’s looking for his person. Someone who understands that love sometimes whispers instead of shouts. With patience and compassion, Caleb will reward you with quiet devotion and endless snuggles.
