I am a little nervous around new people, but I'm a big lover once you gain my trust. I love the outdoors and car rides! I have been given basic outdoor training with an e-collar, and do well, but I can be stubborn sometimes, so I'm not perfect, but working to be. I would be an amazing hunting or farming dog with a little training as I already love tracking and chasing critters. I'm good at fetch, I know all my basic commands, and listen to them obediently so long as I'm not feeling stubborn or over stimulated in the moment. I love being with my people we usually do everything together all day long, and I'm hoping to find something similar for my next family the more time I get with my people the better!! I'm a very happy and confident dog most of the time. I absolutely adore attention and love to cuddle! My people usually let me sleep on the bed with them under the blankets, because I'm spoiled and it's what I prefer. Did I say I was stubborn? I listen well to a collar and leash as well as a leash and harness, or e collar, I do not like being pulled around by the handle on my harness and I do not like crates I have broken out of them to the point of injury since I was a wee pup. I do well in a clean room free of things for me to destroy, I also do good on an indoor chain, but I will protest about being put on it. I have a habit of jumping up on people that I'm working on I rarely put my weight on people when I do jump, but Im working on not doing it at all. I love to explore I'm good about returning to my heel command even when playing in the woods with my people. I'm eager to please and to be a ray of joy in someone's life. I jump baby gates like it's an Olympic sport, so if your fence is short I may try to jump it. My favorite food is pizza (again spoiled), but I've done well on many different brands of dog food I currently eat diamond naturals maintenance, and I'm feeling strong and energetic. I love attention, and can be a little demanding about it at times. I can be very persistent about things at times. I do well with other dogs normally. I don't like being moved in my sleep and can be very grumbly and defensive about it I do much better with my command word "move" when needing to get out of the way while resting rather than being physically disturbed. My fur is soft and silky. I am very good about people invading my personal space when I get to know them I am a very physically affectionate dog. I am very vocal due to my natural hound instincts. I turn everything into an adventure with great enthusiasm. Sometimes I like to guard toys, but I'm not bad about it I let my people take them from me with little to no gruff. sometimes I just don't want the other dogs having it, so i need to be reminded that it's not mine, but my peoples and I need to share. I'm very smart and aware of myself. If I have beef my farts can clear out a room, but I love it. I just want to be someone's buddy that I can spend as much time as possible with at the end of the day so please consider being my new people my family has done everything they can to keep me and the roads ran out so now they are doing everything they can to find me loving and caring people who will cherish me. I do well with other dogs. Unknown and cats and kids. I am microchipped.
