Bacca is a smart, energetic boy who is a 1.5 years old chihuahua / jack russell terrier mix and weighs 14 pounds. He loves to play, especially tug of war, and chase rabbits in our yard. He is full of affection, and will give you plenty of kisses and cuddles on the couch. He knows a bunch of basic commands and is house trained and crate trained. Bacca was rescued from the streets of Houston and has some reactivity and resource guarding for food, toys, and people. He does not do well with other dogs he has not met before. He has started guarding me and becoming aggressive with my wife, who is medically fragile. Because we live in a small apartment in Boston, we cannot keep him, although it breaks our hearts to give him up, because he is really a sweet dog at heart Looking for a new home with someone who is experienced with Chihuahuas and reactive dogs.
