Boogie is a neutered, (healthy) 70lb retired autism, mobility, and psychiatric service dog, so he is trained for public access. He passed the AKC's Good Citizen Certification, so he walks very well on a leash and does well with sit, stay, place, etc. He knows to wait until he's told to “Say hello" before approaching people (and he LOVES people and kids). He plays very well with other dogs- we go to different dog parks and he socializes appropriately. His recall is excellent, even at places like Dog Beach. He adapts well to new environments, and changes in routine or lifestyle. He knows to curb himself to potty, and to (try to) empty his bladder when he gets a pee break. He does well ignoring birds & wildlife. He was perfectly behaved at places like the zoo and Sea World. We had cats- he wanted to befriend them, not chase them, so with proper introductions, he could adapt to cats. He would actually do very well as a therapy dog, had I the funds to get him into in a program.
I have a Google Docs file Boogie's complete profile, if interested.
