Additional notes about your dog’s health history:: Bailey has not been diagnosed with arthritis or exhibited joint pain, but sometimes seemed a little stiff in his hind legs when getting up after laying down for a while, so we started him on the Royal Canin joint supplements and have seen a lot of improvement.
Has your dog ever shown any challenging behaviors, such as biting a person or another pet? If so, please share some context.: Bailey has lived his entire life in a quiet and calm home with two older people. He has been the only dog, there were two other cats, and he would sometimes try and chase them. He was staying with friends after his owner was hospitalized - which was a few weeks after their partner passed away. The friends had three or four other dogs. There he showed some food protectiveness/aggression, and the same sometimes with toys. He did not really have toys in his home, so he was also not used to having them. He sometimes will jump up on people, especially new people, when first seeing them.
How often does your dog require grooming (e.g., bathing, brushing, trimming)? : He is a lab, so only grooming is brushing and bathing as desired.

He has also been on Royal Canin Joint Support Soft Chews Supplement for Adult Dogs, which have made a significant difference for him, and I would like to know that his new family would be willing to continue giving them to him.
Is there anything else you'd like your pet's new family to know?: Bailey should be the only dog as he has shown food and toy protectiveness when staying with friends who had 3 other dogs. Also should be in a cat free home as he would sometimes chase the cat he lived with.

Details about rehoming reason (if needed): Bailey's pet parent had a long hospitalization and is still recovering away from home. The family is taking in her cat and has a cat of their own, and Bailey chases the cats.
