Lady is a beautiful, 5 yr old, 60 lb, healthy red female Doberman with all the classic traits of the breed—highly intelligent, loyal, loving, protective, and very people-oriented. She is a true “velcro dog” who wants to be close to her person and thrives on attention, connection, and being part of the household. Spayed and up to date on all shots. She is on a special diet from the pet store that is low copper for Copper Storage Disease, but her blood work has been steady for the past 2 years.
Like a typical Doberman, she is high-energy and does best with Structure, Routine, and an Active home that can give her the Time, Engagement, and Consistency she needs. She is affectionate and devoted, and she will bond deeply with the right person or family.
She would be happiest in a home that understands the Doberman breed and can provide regular Exercise, Mental stimulation, and a Stable environment where she can feel secure and included. She is an incredibly special dog who deserves a home that has the time and commitment to help her thrive. I rescued her as a 4 month old puppy, and it was never my intention to have to make this kind of decision. Due to unforeseen life and housing circumstances, I am being forced to move and cannot take her with me. This has been an incredibly difficult and heartbreaking choice, and I am only looking to place her in the right home where she will be loved, understood, and cared for. Thank you.
