Gucci is a high energy, fun-loving pup that lives for being with is people. He 100% still has puppy energy and loves playing with kids! He has never met a stuffy that he didn't think was his new toy. When the kids aren't home and I'm working, he busies himself with chewing on his toys and attempting to make our geriatric dog play with him. He is a very joyful animal that lives for being next to you and stealing your attention as much as possible :). Gucci is great with other dogs, and has never met one that he didn't want to play with - even giant dogs that give him a hard time at first! He can hang with the big dogs, for sure! We often spend time at a friend's with 2 cats, and he is very curious and playful with them as well. He is very loyal to "his people" and will do best in a hom that has a lot of time and attention to give him. Without it, he can get into trouble chewing, marking, etc. Gucci is good on a leash and loves to take walks, mostly because he is such a social pup! Please be advised that Pugs should not be allowed to participate in strenuous activitiy, especially in the heat or sun, for too long; their short noses make it hard for them to breathe and Gucci's black fur, in particular, makes him hot quickly.
He is house-trained, although he does mark on occassion, especially when he's not getting enough exercise of attention. Gucci was neutered October, 2025, is up-to-date on all shots and microchipped. He has no special needs (except for monitoring exertion due to breathing difficulties of bread - see above), but has gotten used to a diet of dry dog food and boiled chicken due to the dietary restrictions of our other, very old dog that requires it.
