Mimi

Mimi is an 11-year-old sensitive girl in need of a calm and loving home. She was adopted from a Los Angeles shelter in 2019 by our daughter and came to live with us during COVID in 2020. Our daughter got married and moved, and Mimi stayed with us even though my husband is allergic to cats. Mimi is shy at first and takes time to trust, but once she does, she’s incredibly sweet and affectionate. She loves being petted in the evenings, and is very food motivated (especially her Churu treats!). We think Mimi will do better in a home where people or other cats are around during the day. When she gets bored or lonely, she tends to over-groom, which has caused some hair loss. Our vet has confirmed this doesn’t affect her comfort or require treatment. We have loved Mimi for over 6 years and our only goal is to find her a safe, loving home where she can feel secure and thrive. This is a very difficult for us, but we have to move and the new landlord will not allow a cat. We are committed to finding the right home for her,.
