Louie

Louis is a very happy energetic dog. He's a mix of Australian Shephard, Australian cattle dog, and border collie. He loves to get out and be active, he's very active and loves to train. He's had multiple stays with a specialized dog trainer for 2-3 week long board and trains. Is able to be off leash with proper training and guidence and can do a number of commands and tricks with simple voice command. He loves to train and go for long walks, and is an adventurous dog that could really use someone who has the time to spend working with him

Louie has lots of energy, but can still chill and be a couch potato when the time comes, especially if he has already had his walks or exericise. He's very goofy and still has that floppy goofy puppy energy. He loves to play ball and bring the ball back to you for endless games of fetch. He's very loving and loyal, and will be your Velcro dog by your side all day.

Louie enjoys long walks, playing fetch with his ball or other toys, and is well trained and enjoys his daily training and work. He will play with you for as long as you are willing to play.

Louie has lived with other dogs, and has a playful energy about him. Our other dog isn't very good living with other dogs, and we sadly found this out the hard way. We keep them separated for most of the day to avoid any problems that our older dog could start. But Louie still goes up to the gate that separates them any chance he can get with a wagging tail. Due to this we're not 100% sure how he is fully living side by side with other dogs, we have a big house luckily and are able to keep them on opposite ends. We feel Louie would probably thrive best with someone who loves to get out and be active with him, spend time working with him on his training. We have older kids, 14,12,10 and he loves to play with them, He has been around little kids before and although he is nice, and hasn't' shown signs of aggression, he tends to be a bit rambunctious and might doensn't quite turn down the enthusiasm and speed in which he plays.

Louie is fully house Trained, has spent multiple weeks working with a specialized dog trainer who trains dogs that do competitions. He can be off leash, and do a number of commands with a just simple word. Get's to your side with heal, can stay until told to get up, and comes to your front by your feet with "come" , will go to his place bed with place, and stay until told to "free" plenty of other fun commands that he loves to do. He is fully crate trained, sleeps in his crate at night, and stays in there when we leave the house. Is very well behaved on his leash, and walks with you and stops when you stop.

Louie is neutered, and up to date on all his vaccinations. He does not have any medical conditions, he had a rash for a little while and we switched his food to a grain free salmon and he has been fine ever since.

Louie does not have any specific special needs, but if you don't want to get out and exercise him, wheather that means lots of walks, or have a yard for him to run he might not be the best fit. He is a loving happy dog, and can relax and be lazy with the best of him, but his breed is definitely one that loves to be active.
