Lucy was a year old in December and is a 40lb muscle bound, love/snuggle bug. She has never met a stranger. She loves everything and everyone. High energy. She's great in a car. She loves to chase squirrels, birds carpenter bees...yes them too! She just needs room to run and/or frequent opportunities to be outside in a fenced yard. Her zoomies are fun to watch just be careful because she may run into you (smaller children & frail seniors are a concern for this) Not a mean bone in her body just super excited. She walks well on a leash but better with harness/leash combo because she's so strong. She loves rope type toys and chew toys and gets the zoomies and plays by herself sometimes. Lucy needs a large fenced in yard so she can run at will. That's my problem. She has alot of energy despite 3-4 mile walks 3-4 times a week.
I have electric fence collars and she will not leave my foot if the collar is on because she got zapped real good twice. But if I leave it off she will chase a squirrel and then run all over the neighborhood and go visit everyone. When that happens she won't comeback when called. Lucy is house-trained but I still tend to crate her when I leave the house. She will sit & shake. She's good on a leash but better with a harness and leash. She is a jumper so that is still a work in progress. Lucy is up to date on everything and not due for an annual again until August 2026.

Details about rehoming reason (if needed):
I don't have a fenced yard. I have e-collar fence. And since she got zapped 2x she is petrified if I put the collar on even if it's off. She won't move. And even though I take her on walks she needs to run around. And she chases a squirrel or dee and then keeps going to neighbors homes and that's not good. Then she won't come back when called.
