Brieanna Tarth wants to give you some kisses
Here's a little bit about Brianna Tarth. Brie is 6 years old. She's been in the same household since she was a puppy. She is spayed and microchipped. Brieanna has always been up to date on all of her vaccinations and flea and heart prevention. Being around people is one of her favorite things. She spends her days laying in sun beams hanging out with humans and chewing on bones. Brieanna would thrive in a home where she can chill and hangout with people all day. She would make a great office dog. She gets her energy out, through pets and snuggles since she can't run and play. She is super friendly to everyone. Brie has a big happy personality. She's never been around a cat before so I don't know how she would react. She does well with older dogs that won't let her rough play and run around. She is good with older kids. She's lived with kids her whole life. We just have to be careful about her legs. We tell the kids Brie is for snuggling, not rough housing. That tends to work out well. She knows how to Sit, Wait, Come, Lay down, Leave it, No barking, Go lay down ( she will go lay in her bed), and stay out of the kitchen. Brie has very good house manners. She loves to say hi and get pets and has never jumped on anyone. She knows not to go on furniture. She is potty trained and is always uncrated when we leave the house. She is a very good listener who loves to make you and others happy.

Details about rehoming reason (if needed):
The reason I'm reaching out is because I very much need some help and support. This is a very emotional decision that's taken me two years to accept. But after talking to my psychologist last week I now understand how it will greatly improve my quality of life to get a service dog for my CPTSD. Even accounting for the grieving process of rehoming my current dog, Brie. Brie is an amazing dog, very happy, loving and well behaved. However she has injured knees and arthritis in her hips. She has arthritis in both of her hips and she has malformation on both her knees. She was a very brave girl. When she was 2. She had surgery to repair one of her knees. But sadly it didn't work. Brie gets sad sometimes because she isn't able to play with other dogs or run. Sadly she isn't able to do all the things I need. Plus my needs are growing. So here I am broken hearted and scared about this whole thing. But sure it's the right thing for her and me.
