Sophie

Sophie is 8 1/2 years young. She is a very energetic dog that can play with the younger dogs still and can also settle down very nicely for a cuddle, the closer the better. She loves people and is good with kids however needs practice being a bit less excited. She is a pleaser and wants a job all the time. She wants to learn and get praise and seeks people out all the time for this. She is very smart and very easy to train. She is a dominant female however has no issues understanding her humans are her dominants. She does well with other dogs that do not challenge her alpha role. She would be best in a home without other small animals as she wants to do terrier work. She is fast and will play catch forever. She is very friendly when on walks but can be a bit barky in her own territory. We are working on this too. Sophie has a brother however despite getting along so well and even sleeping together at times, I believe they would do well apart as they do lots of exploring activities at home individually. Like her brother Sophie has lost her owners and is being loved on and cared for by her foster sister however this living situation is not sustainable forever.
