Rue is a 4 year old male tuxedo cat that I need to rehome. He is a beautiful sweet natured kitty, but unfortunately he is not adapting to my baby. We have tried for a year to help the kitty, Rue adjust. It’s sad to see him becoming more and more secluded. (I think Rue is just use to being the baby)
Rue has a wonderful personality:
-He’s not demanding for affection but if you come to him, he will roll over or curl up in your lap.
-He doesn’t try to dart outside every time you open the door or curl around your legs when you’re walking.
-He’s not a vocal kitty, but when you’re rubbing him, he has a big purr.
-He is very affectionate, always loving on us and our other cats
-He loves meal time and snack time

Cat has had episode of litter box avoidance after we brought home our baby and also adopted a dog— I have taken him to vet appointments and the vets all say that the stress from the changes has caused bladder inflammation

I can tell Rue is stressed out and unhappy for the past year since we brought our baby home from the hospital and also adopted a dog. It seems to just get worse over time. My husband and I feel like we owe it to the cat to find him a better home where he can be happy again.
